Last Quarter Gearing Up for Hope (GU4H), a non-profit organization supporting human-powered transportation in underdeveloped communities, received anddonated bicycles, scooters and tools that were dispersed to orphanages through an international partnership of the Wheat Mission, ACT lab and the Korea EducationFund. Nearly 180 bicycles and scooters were recycled, rehabilitated and donated through last July to children to use for play and transportation
GU4H’s goals are to build a cycling community in developing countries that can be self-sustaining, getting bicycles into the hands of children, teachers and doctors, giving them the ability to reach further distances and assist in reaching fairly inaccessible locations.
