Costs cover testing, document review, audits, certification mark, and ongoing renewals. You’ll always receive a quote before starting the certification process.

To begin the certification process, applicants are required to submit a Certification Application Form (CAF) along with any supporting documentation, such as a product description or company information, that may be requested to support your application. While not mandatory at this stage, applicants may also choose to submit Factory Initial Information Forms (FIIFs), which can help streamline later steps in the process.

Audits ensure your product is built consistently and safely. An audit happens when you first certify, and then periodically per year to keep your certification valid.
