Global Marketing Manager

Summary

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of ACT global marketing. They will be responsible for overseeing the success of various marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and detail-oriented manager with excellent project management, writing, and strategic planning skills.

ACT Lab is an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory that conducts consumer product safety and compliance testing for an active world. Specialties include the mechanical and chemical testing of bikes and accessories, helmets, e-mobility products, children’s products, and additional sporting goods. ACT Lab’s services extend beyond testing with an industry-leading team of experts providing individualized guidance on product evaluation, research and development, auditing, and quality control. With four test labs and six corporate offices across the globe, ACT Lab works with customers to navigate compliance through all aspects of the supply chain to deliver safe and reliable products to consumers.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage marketing campaigns, monitoring and reporting on effectiveness
  • Manage and enhance lead generation strategies
  • Develop and coordinate content for web, social media, tradeshows, and events
  • Manage the creation and distribution of various marketing materials
  • Coordinate and plan global tradeshow and event schedule and logistics alongside the Global Sales Director
  • Develop and execute an effective email marketing strategy
  • Manage vendors for design, digital marketing, website development, and PR
  • Proactively design, implement, and market strategies to encourage new business, customer retention, and revenue growth
  • Manage any personal and operating budgets for the marketing department
  • Conduct market research to determine a target audience wants, needs, and habits to better develop a targeted marketing campaign

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience required
  • Knowledge of marketing-related business practices and software programs
  • Technical writing experience a plus
  • Customer service experience a plus
  • Bicycle and outdoors sporting goods experience a plus
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other basic office computer skills/software
  • Mastery in English speaking, reading, and writing
  • Mandarin speaking, reading, and writing skills a plus
